The curious mind always asks questions and seeks answers but with the vast amount of accumulated information, which can be retrieved in a matter of seconds, how does one sort that information? How is the truth value of information added to it? Could it be that we always get closer to the truth but never fully capture it. In the effort of getting closer to the truth, we had many discussions and dialogues with people from different walks of life. The discussions range from simple to complex curiosities of life and nature. In this process we have read many books and spoken with many people. We decided to share these conversations with you so you may gain something from it.
Trial Before Pilate
The author is a malingerer and a flaner, who, aimlessly, wanders the world as a screever. We do not expect much from this book and would like some compensation for reading this drivel.
Christianity not Mysterious
John Toland is one of those authors that has a desideratum and compathy for sophistry but at the same time claiming that he is a pursuer of truth. He is the type of person who lives on the fringe of truth; but knowingly never wants to fully accept it.
Nazarenus, or, Jewish, Gentile, and Mohomethan Christinity
A very ostentatious title by a very obstreperous writer. I have been reading this Irish author for quite some time and every now and then he makes a slightly interesting point that requires a bit of head scratching.
Death of Jesus
This book was brought to our attention by a previous book we read and we decided to read it. The author could have picked a better title than “The death of Jesus.” We had a feeling that this would not present anything new, but still we read it. After all, we do not have much hope to find the actual truth after two thousand years of lies and deceit.
Jesus report
Damn silly title of the book gathered our attention, and we decided to waste time reading this drivel.
Day god laughed
We had read a few books from this author and decided to get this one and read to gain some inside information about the Jewish religion and the people.
Arian controversy
We were looking for books destroyed by Christians in the early years and came across Arian and Arianism. After a little searching we found an old book on the subject called Arian Controversy.
